Brief Introduction
China Bluestar Lehigh Engineering Corp. (former Chemical Mines Design and Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry), with Grade A Safety Assessment Qualification, is a member of the Safety Assessment Working Committee of China Association of Work Safety. There are 27 workers who have achieved State-Level Qualification Certificate of Safety Assessment (including 16 first class safety evaluators, 5 second class safety evaluators and 6 third class safety evaluators), and 38 state registered safety engineers.
Our institute has a department exclusively for safety assessments with personnel specialized in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, water supply and sewerage engineering, construction engineering, geology engineering, mining, well construction and environmental engineering. It has many experts engaged in long-term engineering design to support safety assessment work.
The institute has undertaken more than 500 tasks concerning the safety assessment of non-coal mines and dangerous chemicals since the beginning of the safety assessment that has contributed to safe production promotion and management capacity improvements. We have also coordinated safe production supervision and management department in safety inspection and technical support services; cooperated with government safety supervision department to implement regular or irregular security checks; assisted relevant inspections and supervision departments.
Safety assessment covers the following business scopes:
Category One: 2. a. metal mining and dressing, b. non-metal mining and dressing and c. other mining and dressing; 4. a. oil processing industry, b. chemical raw materials, chemicals and pharmaceutical manufacturing, c. gas production and supply industry, and d. coking industry. ***;
Category Two: 6. tailing pond; 9. storage industry; 19. light industry, textiles, tobacco processing and manufacturing. ***.
